1st Year Courses
Students have the opportunity to earn up to 30 college credits to go towards a bachelor degree during their first year of school through West Coast Bible College & Seminary. Below is a description of a few of the courses offered at RDC through WCBSC.
BIBL 101
Biblical Interpretation
This course explores the principles and practices of interpretation. Attention will be given to the various literary forms of the Biblical books. Students will learn how to clarify the meaning of the text and learn how to apply that meaning to ministry contexts.
BIBL 201
Old Testament Survey
This course covers the 39 books of the Hebrew Bible. Issues like authorship, history, and theological significance will be treated. Students will learn how to interpret the Old Testament.
BIBL 102
The Life of Christ
This course explores the life of Christ described in the four gospels. Studying both chronological events and important themes, students will be about to recount the major aspects of Jesus' life and ministry. The course will stress the redemptive work of Christ.
BIBL 202
New Testament Survey
Students will analyze the background, structure, and thought of the 27 books that make up the New Testament.
